Partnering with Lumley

Questions about insurance often arise in the discussions our fellow private client advisers have with their clients. We work alongside selected partners to provide them with clear guidance and specialist insight, so they’re prepared when insurance enters the conversation.

Who we work with

We work with private client advisers and businesses who play a trusted role in the lives of clients with high‑value homes, collections and luxury assets.

Our partner network is wide and varied – from lawyers and estate agents to family offices and many others. While their expertise differs from ours, we all share a common purpose: to act in our clients’ best interest, taking time to understand their individual circumstances, and valuing expert input when the need arises.

In every relationship, our focus is on trust and mutual respect. We work best with partners who see insurance as an integral part of a joined‑up advisory ecosystem – those who value open conversations and thoughtful collaboration.

By sharing insight and experience, we help advisers understand the common misconceptions associated with insurance, and feel more confident when clients raise the topic in conversation.

Events and experiences

We bring partners and their clients together with our clients at events and experiences that are fun and memorable.

Our business development team relishes the opportunity to strengthen relationships, make thoughtful introductions, and gain a better understanding of other professions that support high-net-worth clients. The gatherings we curate reflect the way we work. We’re all about relationships, collaboration and quality over scale.

If this resonates, we’d love to discuss working together.

Adding value through insight

The needs of clients with high-value homes and luxury assets are often more complex than they might first appear. Property features, rebuild costs, valuable contents, collections and lifestyle factors can all introduce risks that are easy to overlook, particularly when insurance is only one part of a wider client conversation.

Through our informal Insight Sessions, we help partners build a clearer understanding of what being ‘properly insured’ really means. These sessions are discussion‑led and grounded in real scenarios, focusing on the questions, misconceptions and grey areas that often arise.

We aim to help partner teams add value to client conversations without needing to become insurance experts themselves.
