John leads the business and has been a Director at Lumley Insurance since 2003 and brings over 40 years’ experience in the insurance market. His career has spanned senior leadership roles across aviation and global risk. He is proud to lead a knowledgeable team with a shared commitment to providing thoughtful, personal insurance advice to our clients. Outside work, John enjoys spending time with his family and walking his beloved beagle Pickle.

Christopher is a Director at Lumley Insurance and has been with the business since 2005. With over 30 years’ experience in international property insurance, he has worked across the UK and South America and brings a measured, global perspective to the business and its clients. Alongside his brother John, Christopher is part of a family tradition in insurance spanning five generations. Outside work, he enjoys time in the mountains, particularly skiing, as well as Spanish food and culture.

He has co-founded businesses in real estate and technology, and is also co-founder of EdenLabs Ltd, an innovation lab linked to the Eden Project.
